For this reason, it is important to maintain a high level of professionalism with any products or treatments retailed in the practice. IAAM was founded by Dr Chytra V Anand, Cosmetic Dermatologist to train Medical Practitioners in the field of Aesthetic Medicine. Since then the training programme has been conducted on a quarterly basis and medical practitioners from India, Dubai, Sudan, Saudi Arabia & Europe have attended the courses held in Bangalore. Anand Dr Chytra V. Anand is a certified Cosmetic Dermatologist. She received extensive training in Dermatology at the prestigious and world renowned St John Dermatology Institute of Guys & St Thomas's Hospital in London. During this time she trained with leading cosmetic dermatologists and plastic surgeons in London in the art of Cosmetic Dermatology. After gaining experience in the field of Cosmetic Dermatology in London, she went on to do a Fellowship programme in Cosmetic Dermatology in USA. Dr Anand holds the unique distinction of being a dermatologist and a CIDESCO holder, thus enhancing her experience in the field of Aesthetic Medicine. In London, Dr Anand was associated with the Bare Necessity Skin & Laser Clinics as a Cosmetic Consultant and was also in charge of training of other practitioners at the clinics including Physicians, Nurses and Aestheticians. In her London practice, she was renowned for her cosmetic procedures with an impressive client list comprising of Hollywood stars and British fashion industry. She has been on the expert panel for her talks on Cosmetic Dermatology at various conferences and meetings. She has also been a part of Cosmetic Dermatology Programmes on Channel 4, Discovery Health and other prestigious TV Channels in London. In 2006, when Dr Anand moved to Bangalore, she brought with her this vast experience and started Kosmoderma Clinics. On finding that Cosmetic Dermatology was still at its infancy and adequate training was not being provided in this field, she founded IAAM to impart knowledge and skill to other Medical Practitioners. Dr Anand writes articles for various mainstream publications on a regular basis and is frequently sought out by the media for her knowledge in the field of Cosmetic Dermatology. She has been on the faculty and experts panels at various national conferences.
